Well, the rabbi?

Paul was a major role model of mine! last night my guest...a jewish blues singer...couldn't believe it was THE Paul Krassner. he checked the show's archives before agreeing to do my show...saw Paul had been on...but when he saw that John Sinclair had been on twice, he was won over!

I first asked paul if I could interview him in the early 90's. He came over to our house...and it was just the 2 of us in a room with a tape recorder for hours. You can listen/ read it at http://www.luver.com/underground/suarchives.htm. And he came back after we started http://www.luver.com.

Paul and the other Yippies showed me a way into politics that was fun, funny and sexy at a time when most lefties were pretty dour. I met Paul in the 80s through LA Weekly editor Jay Levin when I was a wee scribe there.
