Carl had done his homework, and in his easy jovial way had totally penetrated Frank's platform, had lots of questions and lots of insight into what Frank was doing. That he said he would take a bullet for Frank to allow this vision for society to materialize for his children was mind blowing. It was really amazing the kind of passion that Frank's platform taps into in people ... with Carl it is always burning ... in others, it is like a kind of awakening. It was so neat to hear Carl and Frank playfully break down the issues that the platform addresses, and how the basic changes that the platform calls for had such far-reaching effects, that it felt like you would only be scratching the surface of the profound changes that would occur if any of these ideas were truly put into action."
